On fleeting moments
This piece began as a quick sketch by a river, where I watched figures move slowly through the landscape. I worked with ink and soft washes, allowing the lines to remain loose and unfinished. It was created during a short retreat outside London, where I carried only a small sketchbook and simple materials. I wanted to capture not the scene itself, but the feeling of watching something pass.
